Some old drawings I scanned in last night...

I love ethnic diversity. I used to draw a lot of children from different corners of the world. As an artist, the many different cultures provide a huge library for color, detail and patterns for me to drawn from. There is no limit to what you can find out there for inspiration.

Not only do we have the many extraordinary cultures, but we have their unique histories to draw from as well. I love costumes...from all different ages and all different parts of the world.

Going back through all these drawings (and there are many sketchbooks full) makes me really want to draw again. Funny that my own old work can inspire me.

(I scanned many different sketches, and have many more to scan...I'm sure I'll upload more later.)

...I don't think it funny, I find it wise and true! Your "old" work is lovely!
