...I hope.
I bought and am reading a book called "The Nine Modern Day Muses" by Jill Badonsky. This book is a journey through the re-ingniting of the creative process. This book, along with "Simple Abundance" by Sara Ban Braethnach (which Noël bought me on Sunday) I am hoping, will help me get in a more creative state of mind.
My biggest frustration is my lack of time. Although I gave up WoW, for the most part, other little time consuming things seem to be filling in for it. I need to be selfish with my time, and just tell people "no", when they ask me to do things.
This pursuit is important to me, and I feel it everyday as I prepare for work, knowing it will be another thankless day of chores that mean next to nothing to me. If I want this to EVER change, I'm going to have to put every available minute into seeking the art in my soul. Even then there is no guarantee this will work...but, DAMMIT, I have to try!
So anyway...I will be posting bits and pieces of this process here. I pray it doesn't bore you all to tears.
